Nov. 14: Food and Other Things August has been a busy month on our grounds with different organizations holding their events here.
We have completed our two-year adventure through all the wars of the United States. It has been an interesting and informative trip. (We are hoping there will not be an end- of-the-month quiz!)
This year members will be responsible for some of the programs and we look forward to Jeff’s offering on October 10. As he and Deb have just completed a 7,000 mile trip across the United States in their camper we are wondering... and hoping... Please join us to learn what it will be.
Our annual Halloween Party is always lots of fun. There will be prizes for costumes and games. We usually have a cup social, and the refreshments are always “out of this world.”
Just a gentle reminder that dues for 2026 are now due. Why not pay them at a meeting and save a stamp. And if we could just have a bit of rain so our gardens won’t shrivel up to nothingness, next time we will tell you all about sweet September.
