| OCTOBER 7, 2025 -- Our October 10th meeting will be the start of a new Grange year. It will also be the first meeting of our new Grange theme - “The Alphabet”. Secretary Marilyn Maxwell will be in charge. She chose the letter “M”. Don’t know if she picked this letter because of her name or what she has in mind. Whichever I know it will be a good program. She is also the host for the meeting.
Our Delegates to the State Session are Overseer Ron Gunther and Gatekeeper Marianne Nielsen.
Next tag sale and Open Mic October 18th. Featured item is Halloween decorations. Tag Sale 9 to 2 - Open Mic 2 to 5. We always have some free snacks but Secretary Marilyn has added a lunch snack at a very reasonable price. This month chili.
We offer our sincere sympathies to our Chaplain Marie Sousa on the passing of her father Manuel Vilar and our Ceres Carol Brooks on the passing of her brother Alan.
The members sent get well wishes to Connie Brush who is a resident of Shady Knoll in Seymour and Pat Bisson (my sister) a resident of Beacon Brook Convalescent Center in Naugatuck. Also to Ron Gunther, Marianne Nielsen and Sandy Fitzner who missed our last meeting because of illness. We hope by the time you are reading this, the news is better and they have all returned to good health.
