At our one November meeting we learned about Thanksgiving and we took a quiz to see how much we really knew about it. One thing we learned was that, sadly, they had no mashed potato’s at that first meal because potatoes came to America much later than the Pilgrims did.
DECEMBER 3, 2025 -- Please remember that we will be holding a community service project with Habitat for Humanity on April 25, 2026 and that we have also set aside the date of July 18, 2026 for a Pomona activity. Suggestions for the activity which have been made so far include a mystery dinner, visits to Mystic Seaport or Mystic Aquarium, the town of Essex, or a visit to a farm for ice cream.
